All 17 of the San Fernando Valley’s Farmers Markets

Whether you’re looking for fresh winter artichokes, the summer’s finest watermelon, or the best in artisanal eating, The Valley’s farmer’s markets have a lot to offer — almost every day of the week.

It hasn’t been that long since the San Fernando Valley was the bread basket of southern California, so it seems fitting that it now hosts many of LA’s best farmers markets. With 10 weekend farmers markets, and four more on weekdays, chances are you won’t have to go far to put local fruit and veggies on the table.

There are even a few farmer-run produce stands that are open daily if you can’t wait to get your fix. Check out this map to find your closest farmers market — or peruse the whole list below.

Where else can I find my favorite local vendors?

In you need some more of that rad radicchio or those ridonculous ramps, keep in mind that some of these markets are operated by the same producers — which means you can find your favorite produce all over the Valley on different days.

For example the Canoga Park and Northridge markets are run by Coastal Pacific Markets. The Sherman Oaks, Porter Ranch, Calabasas, and Warner Center farmers markets are run by Raw Inspiration. And California Certified Farmers Markets is another operator who runs (or helps run) the farmers markets in Sherman Oaks, CSUN, Warner Center, and Porter Ranch.

These producers are also great resources if you want to become a vendor at a farmers market or track down other farmers markets around LA.
